I came to Peru from America to get my Sleeve surgery. I came from Connecticut and  I was excited to get my surgery done. I was tired of being overweight with lots of health problems. I was reccomened by a lady on the plane from Newark NJ to Peru. I visited this clinic, and got my blood work and ultrasound stuff all in one day, to make sure I was okay for surgery. When I was approved I came in 2 days later. at first the surgery was very painful and uncomfortable ( but what surgery isnt?) When I was laying in bed at the clinic, waiting for the doctors to let me go home.Time goes a 1000 times slower, and I wondered "why he hell did I decide to do surgery?".But once I got home, away from the clinic to a more comfortable place, my recovery became easier. I know that surgery or recovery wasnt easy for me. I hated not being able to more around a lot like I was used to. What made the liquid diet tolerable, was the fact that I wasnt hungry. I lost 9 kilos (20lbs) 14 days after surgery. I dont see a difference yet, but I feel a lot better. I have less joint pain, and I no longer have migraines caused by the feeling of hunger, and for that I am very greatful. I still have a long journey ahead of me. I can only thank the staff who was very supportive the whole time.  Dr. Salinas and dr. Varner were super awesome. I dont regret the Surgery and I know I will do much better as time goes on.
